You should be aware that “Premium” users (if a whole $10 can be called premium) of ‘WordPress Social Share Buttons’ are being prompted to update to a new version – yours. If they do, it breaks. Not a good experience and doesn’t make you look good. You guys need to sort out why and fix it.
What are you talking about? My plugin is totally different from that plugin. So you can’t compare with both of them. And this one running well buddy. My plugin is not connected with them so why this will be break?? This one hosted in wordpress plugin directory. So don’t make it difficult. It’s really simple and easy plugin. Ok
Hi Ataul, we’re also wondering what changed!. Can you advise what the difference is between the ‘WordPress Social Share Buttons’ plug-in as published by you, and that published by Designchemical? Same plug-in name, two different authors? And if you take a look at newsharecounts.com (and there’s a few other options) twitter counts are possible?
Different is my plugin is free and that one premium. Also both are different in look and placement. Like this plugin will placed share buttons under the post and that one floating left of post. Hope you understand! :) I saw share count that’s not possible. Sorry!
Hi I have just run a plug-in update for WordPress Social Share Buttons and it has changed author from from Designchemical to you. Now it doesn’t work. What gives? – how come you’ve taken over as author when they are still supporting?? (have done in our sandpit environment – not public)
Just to add to that, what we’re looking at is fixing the twitter social share count issue (ref newShareCounts.com) – it’s now possible to report Twitter share counts on the page via their API. But previous Social Share version doesn’t do it. Soooo…maybe you’ve taken over dev on this plug-in and can fix it?
